My walk in the park...

I went to the park- and really enjoyed how green everything is! This sign is in a small herb garden there- and though nothing had sprung up yet- it was still beautiful.
I can't wait to picnic with my kids when it gets a bit warmer!

A bit personal...

Hey everyone! This photo is a bit personal, but I thought I'd share part of what I do here during the day. My daughter and I like to color. We always have tons of fun, and she lets me take a polaroid or two.

Everything is green again...

I was so happy with the way this Polaroid turned out. I love ornamental trees in the spring!! I got this shot while walking through the botanical gardens. Today I'm feeling fairly introspective, so I think I'll go now and sit in the sun. I hope everyone is having a beautiful Thursday!

A sparse living room...

I have had this photo in my inspiration folder forever- and I can't figure out where it is from. If anyone knows who took it or what magazine it was in or whatever, can you please tell me??
I have stared at this image over and over- trying to decide if I could function in a room like that. It looks so serene and lovely- but is it a real option for most people? I have four children. I'm a photographer. You know what that means? I have photos all over the place. I don't know if I could NOT hang photos on the wall. Also-- the couch is white. Beautiful for sure, but white. I couldn't maintain its beauty. (again, the four kids) Do any of you feel like this is a functional room? Is it more for singles or couples with no kids? Or am I just totally off base with this notion?

A friend of mine told me a few days ago that she wanted to buy some "pretty" soap. That got me thinking... so I shopped around town, but didn't really find THE soap. So I hopped on the internet and found these three. Now I'm trying to decide which one she would like best.

I've been lusting after this bed from anthro for so long... I just can't justify it. I had to share it with you all- and ask how many of you have a bed with a headboard? I don't have one- but I'm really debating.

If you didn't already know, I adore owls. Vintage owls, brand new owls, illustrated owls, ceramics owls- I love them all. When I found this Etsy shop- I fell in love with this handbag. Mehran's shop is full of beautifully made handbags- not all owls :Aren't they lovely?? Go check them out !

Awesome Tape at Tape Swell!

I am so excited about the tape I just found!! I was searching for birdie stickers, and I found my way to this! A site called Tape Swell has so many cute choices in mailing tape! They even have Label Tape! How cool is that? Seriously you're going to want it all when you head over there to take a look.

I feel like I'm having a lot of wedding-ish thoughts lately. I love letterpress invites. I think I would like to get married all over again just so that I could send out amazing invitations like these I found at Bella Figura. Don't you just love how they have such great texture and detail?
I really enjoy getting this kind of invite in the mail. I often save them and stick them up on my board in my office.
