Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago

I had the pleasure of attending the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago over the weekend. What an awesome turn out! I loved every booth- and there were so many people there! The top photo shows some of the stuff I got while shopping. It was so hard not to buy EVERYTHING! So many amazing artists out there. Now I have to start planning to go to the next one in December!!

Recently I discovered this amazing artist on etsy. She creates amazing pieces using painting and digital painting, and some collage work. I can't choose just one favorite- but I'll share one of them here.

Photographer Love: Tricia McKellar

I just found an amazing photographer through a site called Feed Your Soul. Her name is Tricia McKellar. She is a mixed media artist who created amazing images using photography and digital painting. You can check out her work on her website, or buy beautiful prints from her etsy shop! Tricia also has a blog that lets you in on her activities.
(Just in case you were wondering, Feed Your Soul is a great website that has free downloads of beautiful work donated by some seriously awesome artists.)

Amazing Creations by Ann Wood

I just found this amazing artist, Ann Wood. She makes incredible fabric sailboats and birds and owls... I'm in love. Most of her work is sold out- but looking at her creations is a dreamlike experience. Go pay her a visit!

Eleanor Hardwick. This girl blows me away. She is fifteen years old. Her work is amazing. I can't say that I've been this in love with someone's photography before. Ever. Go have a look at Eleanor's website, or her Flickr. Prepare to swoon.

I'm loving the work of Wendy Bevan. I adore Polaroid photography- and the fact that she does fashion shoots with ONLY a Polaroid makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

I found her a while ago- on The Shiny Squirrel site. I bookmarked it, and it got lost in the mix somewhere, and recently i decided to organize (gasp!) the out of control mess that is my computer, and there it was. A link to the loveliness that it Samantha Hahn. Enjoy.
