Wood Grain Rug...

Ok so I found this rug at The Land of Nod. I really like it. I think I might put it in my son's room. He's only 1 so he can't really argue with my decorating style yet.


How do you feel about the wood grain trend? Are you over it? In love with it? I'd love to know.

Wall Decor From Smallable

Wouldn't these bird stickers be perfect in a little one's room? I found them at Smallable - I'm a bit bored with my son's room- and they have so many great things to put on my wishlist.

I want to hang art in the kitchen.

That's right people. I have nothing on the wall space in my kitchen. I have always been very hesitant to put any art of any kind in the kitchen. It's because I'm afraid that the pieces will be ruined in some way-- humidity, steam, grease- cooking areas are filled with vapors of all kinds!
I am trying to get past these fears. I saw a pic on apartment therapy and I feel like I can maybe try to hang a piece at a time- but possibly further away from the stove...
