Vacationing...

My family and I have been vacationing on the beach... Sunburns and pizza and dolphins and starfish... I will return in a few days. :)

Planting Lavender and Thyme

My husband bought me these herbs from the local farmer's market. Two lavender and one thyme. They smell delicious. Do any of you go to farmer's markets in the summer?

Patiently waiting for a carnival to come to town. My Polaroid is ready and waiting.

I was looking through some images from last summer... and they warmed me up. Now, just to figure out how to appreciate winter.

Tickets...

Another addition to my collection of carnival images. This one was taken with a Fuji Instax. I almost feel like I'm betraying my Polaroid... but I have to experiment. I can't help it.

Summer+Carnivals+Polaroid= Bliss

I went to my local fair over the weekend. It was so hot!! But I managed to enjoy myself with a couple of overpriced lemon shake ups and my beloved Polaroid camera.

Ps- this will be available in my etsy shop.

Images from memorial day weekend...

An impromptu carnival... (I love those)

Sweet ingredients for sangria.

Finally, the rain came... a storm had been building all weekend, so we expected it.

What did you do this weekend?

Miniature Daisies, a summer favorite.

I was going back through all the photos I've taken this summer- and I noticed a trend. I take tons of photographs of these little weeds. I don't know what they are, but they certainly look like tiny little daisies. I apparently am drawn to them. What flowers, or weeds, are you drawn to?

I miss flowers...

The winter always seems to last so long the closer we get to spring. I miss flowers- so much so that I feel sort of down as the winter wears on. So, I was looking back over some photographs I took last year. The images help me cope. This photo is from my Flickr photostream.
