SO happy that these little guys are covering my back yard. I know they are 'weeds' but I freaking love them.

Miniature Daisies, a summer favorite.

I was going back through all the photos I've taken this summer- and I noticed a trend. I take tons of photographs of these little weeds. I don't know what they are, but they certainly look like tiny little daisies. I apparently am drawn to them. What flowers, or weeds, are you drawn to?

It's So Early!!!

I got up super early today and decided that I had enough time to show you all a really lovely polaroid I got recently. The colors are so vibrant! I love it how my camera surprises me every time. I am going to try to sneak in posts when I can- but forgive me if they are all my polaroids- it takes time to research all my other finds!!

Tuesday afternoon flowers...

My husband brought me flowers today. What a nice surprise.

I miss flowers...

The winter always seems to last so long the closer we get to spring. I miss flowers- so much so that I feel sort of down as the winter wears on. So, I was looking back over some photographs I took last year. The images help me cope. This photo is from my Flickr photostream.

Valentine's Day at my house...

This is what my house looked like on this Valentine's Day.

Sunny...sort of...

Today was warm-ish- but only sunny for a little while. I was able to get this lovely (if not deceiving) photograph of my new favorite vase and some bright flowers. I put it in my shop.

What IS my favorite flower?

This morning I was thinking about a flower conversation I recently had with a friend. I asked her what her favorite flower was- it seemed I had forgotten. My favorite flower has most certainly always been the daisy. --- or has it? I think I may have fluctuated over the years... this Polaroid of peonies by Jen Gotch (aka danske via Flickr) makes me wonder... maybe I love peonies more than daisies?

Wish List?

There are so many things I find out in the world of shopping that I think I should compile a wish list. Not so that others will give me these things, but so I have a comprehensive guide to all the things I love all in one place. This quilt for example, has been calling my name for over a year.
It's on sale now... hmmm....
