I baked. I had something to prove.

After my last post went up, I started to feel like I needed to go into the kitchen and prove to myself that I could successfully cook something. So I did. I made peanut butter cookies. I decided to document the whole thing. They turned out really well- my daughter approved!

Delicious! Cherries from Cannelle et Vanille

As always, I am in LOVE with the photography found on Cannelle et Vanille. I hate to admit it, but I'm not much of a cook. I wish I were. I'm simply terrified to try any recipes because I think I will ruin the food. So, I live vicariously through a handful of gorgeous foodie blogs.

Photographer Love: Tricia McKellar

I just found an amazing photographer through a site called Feed Your Soul. Her name is Tricia McKellar. She is a mixed media artist who created amazing images using photography and digital painting. You can check out her work on her website, or buy beautiful prints from her etsy shop! Tricia also has a blog that lets you in on her activities.
(Just in case you were wondering, Feed Your Soul is a great website that has free downloads of beautiful work donated by some seriously awesome artists.)
