I took this quite a while ago, and debated if I should put it in my shop. But tonight while looking through my hard drive, I came across it again and decided to go for it. It's so pretty! Yeah. I get girlie.

Etsy front page goodness...

This photo was on the front page of Etsy this morning. That was a cool thing to see when I first logged in. Etsy has been a satisfying venue for me for a few years now. I have made so many wonderful contacts and also had many lovely shopping sprees there:)! I am thankful that a place like Etsy exists to keep us crafty folk in touch with one another.

My thing for cowls.

Up there is my girl in a lovely cowl I made in my favorite color yarn. I think it is something simple by red heart- but I can't find it on line anywhere. I am going to list this in my owl and fawn shop in a few minutes. I always sit down with an idea to make a new hat or fingerless gloves or a scarf, but I end up making cowls. I just love them!! I have made so many- and I always keep them! So yeah- I have a thing for cowls. Hop over and check them out if you want- Owl and Fawn

Mireio lavender sachets (and a birthday!)

Mireio is one of my favorite etsy shops ever. i am in love with her lavender pillows and sachets. This one in particular caught my eye. As you all know, I have a weakness for birds. This little sachet is made from vintage fabric and adorned with vintage buttons. Love!!

A little something new...

For a long time I have been crocheting- my grandma taught me how on a very long phone conversation! I have made tons of scarves and hats and blankets for friends and family. I decided to go ahead and open a little side shop with some of my hats. There are only a few items in there right now, but hop over and have a look if you like! It's called owl and fawn. : )
