In looking for ideas for my son's room, I came across this amazing little girl's room on Cookie Magazine. Can you imagine? It would be like a dream to have had this space as a child!

Feeling the need to decorate...with buntings!!!

Again, I have a photo from an inspiration folder that I can't find the source for. This will be the last time I post a photo with no source-- I feel really bad about it!
I just wanted to share today that I am having a major re-decorating jones. I have been in my house for a year and a half, and have only painted one room (the girls' bedroom). I know paint is the easiest and most cost effective way to redecorate, but I want some bunting!!! I mean, look how amazing this room looks! Wouldn't that style look great in a guest room? Your guests would feel so cozy... Maybe I should try to sew my own bunting. Does anyone know of a pattern?

Bold Bedding with Striking Patterns

I am so sorry for my absence! I have been having issues with uploading. But all seems to be resolved now.
Don't you love this bold bedding? I guess The Land of Nod is tickling my fancy for certain lately- I just love the patterns and colors going on there right now! I know that this stuff is meant for little ones, but seriously, I love it and would use these items in my own room!

A sparse living room...
I have had this photo in my inspiration folder forever- and I can't figure out where it is from. If anyone knows who took it or what magazine it was in or whatever, can you please tell me??
I have stared at this image over and over- trying to decide if I could function in a room like that. It looks so serene and lovely- but is it a real option for most people? I have four children. I'm a photographer. You know what that means? I have photos all over the place. I don't know if I could NOT hang photos on the wall. Also-- the couch is white. Beautiful for sure, but white. I couldn't maintain its beauty. (again, the four kids) Do any of you feel like this is a functional room? Is it more for singles or couples with no kids? Or am I just totally off base with this notion?

Lovely Guest Room Decor!
While browsing one of my favorite photographer's blogs, I found that she had posted some photos of her new home's decor. I fell in love with this guest room! I think it is so inviting and sweet. It has that bazaar style that I love so much. The rest of her home is equally awesome and original. Her dining room is stunning! Go check her out- you may even find yourself browsing her amazing photography work. Great job Lyndsay!

A bit of green- I'm welcoming spring...

Doesn't this room look inviting? I love the hanging bottles. The green just makes it look all crisp and lovely. The British Colonial bed is heavy and dark, but perfectly balanced by the soft airyness of the netting above the bed. Beautiful! Head over to Pottery Barn for more room collections.
