I love the colors in this vintage print. I think I need this on my wall. :)

I'm the next Martha Stewart. Except scarier.
I noticed that there is a trend of using specimens and botanical elements in decorating lately. I'm happy to say that I already do it.
The crow and the pumpkin aren't normally there, they are seasonal, but usually my piano has some arrangement of this type of stuff on it.

Decisions... about dining room sets!!

Seriously, I have been in need of a new table for my dining room forever!! I can't ever decide on a style or color- the only things I am sure of are that it needs to be a rectangle, and large enough to fit myself, my husband, and our four children. Perhaps even big enough for a guest or two. The image above is from Anthropologie- I love that table!! But simply can't justify it... also, I think the chairs are a bit too large for the space I have available... Alas, the search continues...

Etsy Love: Electricboogaloo
I stumbled upon this super cute poster in Tiffany Ard's esty shop, electricboogaloo. I love this! I'm always looking around for things to decorate my son's room- which, sadly, at this time is seriously lacking in the decor department. This would be perfect! I love how she refers to this piece as Nerdy Babay Science Art. I also love the amazing nerdy baby flash cards she has!

Wednesday Etsy Favorite: Sparklepower!
This mini fabric garland from SparklePower is absolutely adorable! Each little flag is no bigger than your hand- you could hang this on a vanity or over a small window to cute up your space!

Feeling the need to decorate...with buntings!!!

Again, I have a photo from an inspiration folder that I can't find the source for. This will be the last time I post a photo with no source-- I feel really bad about it!
I just wanted to share today that I am having a major re-decorating jones. I have been in my house for a year and a half, and have only painted one room (the girls' bedroom). I know paint is the easiest and most cost effective way to redecorate, but I want some bunting!!! I mean, look how amazing this room looks! Wouldn't that style look great in a guest room? Your guests would feel so cozy... Maybe I should try to sew my own bunting. Does anyone know of a pattern?

Fabulous-ness Friday- Nursery decor

Look what The Land of Nod added to their already awesome selection of nursery decor! Must refrain from spending...
I love Eames inspired rockers. Anyone out there have one? Is it comfy? Or is it just so cool that comfort doesn't matter?

Some Anthropologie love.

I've been lusting after this bed from anthro for so long... I just can't justify it. I had to share it with you all- and ask how many of you have a bed with a headboard? I don't have one- but I'm really debating.
Oh- and I decided to extend the giveaway deadline until Monday. So, get your comments in, and I will announce the lucky person on Monday morning!

A bit of green- I'm welcoming spring...

Doesn't this room look inviting? I love the hanging bottles. The green just makes it look all crisp and lovely. The British Colonial bed is heavy and dark, but perfectly balanced by the soft airyness of the netting above the bed. Beautiful! Head over to Pottery Barn for more room collections.

Sproost !
I just found an awesome place to build a room.. Sproost.com. You can take a quiz to reveal your personal decorating style and go from there. According to their test, I am "French Eclectic and Vintage Modern". Yep. That's me.
Here is a photo of one of my ideal rooms:

Wood Grain Rug...
Ok so I found this rug at The Land of Nod. I really like it. I think I might put it in my son's room. He's only 1 so he can't really argue with my decorating style yet.
How do you feel about the wood grain trend? Are you over it? In love with it? I'd love to know.
