My thing for cowls.

Up there is my girl in a lovely cowl I made in my favorite color yarn. I think it is something simple by red heart- but I can't find it on line anywhere. I am going to list this in my owl and fawn shop in a few minutes. I always sit down with an idea to make a new hat or fingerless gloves or a scarf, but I end up making cowls. I just love them!! Mireio lavender sachets (and a birthday!)

Mireio is one of my favorite etsy shops ever. i am in love with her lavender pillows and sachets. This one in particular caught my eye. As you all know, I have a weakness for birds. This little sachet is made from vintage fabric and adorned with vintage buttons. Love!!

Wonderful set from Peonies and Polaroids

Peonies and Polaroids has been a long time favorite blog of mine, and she also has an amazing shop on Etsy! I absolutely love this item- a little set of mini prints that comes with ribbon and tiny clothespins with which to hang them. Wouldn't this be a perfect holiday gift for someone special? The other great things is that the sets are available with five different groups of prints, so you can select just the right one!

Holiday shopping on my mind...

Ok now don't send me hate mail, but I was thinking about holiday shopping and how I like to make the packaging look special. I found these adorable gift tags from Seasonal Delights on Etsy. She has the sweetest paper goods! (Even if you're not ready to think of holiday shopping yet.)

Can't help it. I love cowls.

I especially love this one by Murano and Tagua. Its called "the accidental cowl". I've actually wanted to make a cowl of my own for some time, but am terrified of knitting. Go have a look at their shop- you'll find more beauties to drool over.

Pink Kiss Pottery

I haven't posted about pottery in a long time- but rest assured that I still have a serious addiction to it. I recently came across Pink Kiss and fell in love! This little key dish would make a wonderful gift for that person who has 'everything'. The rest of the designs in the shop are equally as lovely. Go have a look!

I love this Poncho!

This poncho is amazing. I probably own more ponchos than the average person- I mean, I even have a patchwork leather poncho with fringe. Not Kidding. I did portraits of my daughters in matching ponchos. You get the point. I love them. Seriously, this my be the most beautiful poncho I have ever seen. I found it in Silvia 66's shop on etsy. Her work is so unbelievable! Go have a look. You'll want one too.

Monday Must Have: Mireio Spa Pillow

Look at this pillow! Amazing right? Mireio, a shop on etsy, has the most incredible spa pillows. They are stuffed with french lavender and organic buckwheat hulls. They smell exquisite, and once you get one, you will want another one. I know this, because I have one. I bought one last month- and had previously purchased a set of sachets that were wonderful as well. The shop owner, Wendelynn, chooses beautiful fabrics to create these luxurious pillows. The one pictured above is made from a vintage piece of crewel embroidery work. She also makes scented soy candles poured into gorgeous vintage glass.
