Carnivals...

Patiently waiting for a carnival to come to town. My Polaroid is ready and waiting.

Thinking back...

Perhaps the first things I should say are these... no I am not currently pregnant. no I was not pregnant with twins. and yes, that was really me, at 37 weeks pregnant.
I was thinking back to what it felt like to be pregnant... all excited about the new baby... girl or boy?... buying baby things... and so I decided to inject myself with a dose of reality. By nature- and genetics I suppose, I happen to get really REALLY large during pregnancy. Even only having gained 40 pounds with my little boy, the weight seemed to hit 3 main spots. Boobs, Belly, and Butt. I was 53 inches around the waist when this was taken. Yeah. NOT COMFY!!
I wouldn't trade my little man for a ticket to all the carnivals in the world, but seriously why couldn't I have been one of those amazingly cute gals with the normal body with a little basketball under their shirts?
Just sayin' ...

Salt Dough Ornaments

Hello lovelies! I just had to share a couple of the salt dough ornaments we made here yesterday. I got the recipe from Prudent Baby. They are having a contest over there and it is still running, so make up some ornaments and get to snapping some pics! Anyway- these were fun and simple- but the drying time seemed forever- and the kids really enjoyed it. Any of you make some fun stuff you'd like to share? Leave us a link in the comments!

Another addition to my collection of carnival images. This one was taken with a Fuji Instax. I almost feel like I'm betraying my Polaroid... but I have to experiment. I can't help it.

Polaroid Camera Giveaway!

Staying warm...

A blanket of 9 inches of snow doesn't exactly keep a person warm. So, a person needs really cute socks to do that for her. Oh, and a down filled comforter. I hope that those of you who are also surrounded by snow and chilling winds have wonderful blankets and socks to keep you warm today.

A bit personal...

Hey everyone! This photo is a bit personal, but I thought I'd share part of what I do here during the day. My daughter and I like to color. We always have tons of fun, and she lets me take a polaroid or two.

Awesome Tape at Tape Swell!

I am so excited about the tape I just found!! I was searching for birdie stickers, and I found my way to this! A site called Tape Swell has so many cute choices in mailing tape! They even have Label Tape! How cool is that? Seriously you're going to want it all when you head over there to take a look.

I can't help it- I think I have a small addiction to fonts. I'm pretty sure I have downloaded every font from Dafont.com - ok not ALL of them- but close.
This one is my new fave, it's called Chopin Script:
