Rainy Hearts...

I know I've been absent for far too long! Everything seems a bit more busy and a lot more hectic around these parts. We are in the second week of the e-course, and that is going well- and my daughters have all kinds of school events happening right now... I haven't even taken down the hearts from the window yet. We have about 6 inches of heavy wet snow on the ground today... and the windows are covered in the melting flakes. I hope all of you are doing well.. and hang in there while I get myself organized!!

Did everyone enjoy (survive) Valentine's Day?

I had a very calm day. I had lunch with my husband and my son, and we shopped for a dining room table. Sounds a little boring I know. But really, it was nice. No dinner date, no restaraunt to crowd into. Just relaxing with my boys.

So many sweeets in February...

Is it just me or is February filled with more sweets than even December?? I swear every time I turn around there is something sweet and bad for me appearing in the house. For example, this donut. My husband likes to wake up and buy such things before I am even out of bed. I didn't eat it, however. Just photographed it. I can't eat all the sweets that appear here. I'd simply explode.
Are any of you plagued with candy???

a few days ago I was happily surprised with a serendipitous little heart floating in my coffee. I love it when things like that happen.
